Intracellular ATP is a driver of biofilm formation in long-term catheterized patients

This project contains shotgun metagenomic sequencing data generated from biofilm samples extracted from indwelling urinary catheters collected from chronically catheterized patients. The sequencing data were used to characterize the microbial communities present on catheter surfaces and to identify bacterial taxa and functional pathways associated with biofilm-forming capacity. These data provide insights into the microbial and functional composition of catheter-associated biofilms and support further investigation of bioenergetic drivers of catheter-associated urinary tract infections.
