The data plotted in Figs 1–3 is provided. The S4 Data file includes the underlying data used to generate the main figure panels: Figs 1B, 2B–2D and 3A–3F. Each tab in the Excel spreadsheet corresponds to a specific panel and contains the raw or processed data used to create the respective plots. Specifically, Fig 1B includes normalized SEC elution profiles and SAXS intensity data for Tse5 and Tse5ΔCT-Tse4 proteins. Fig 2B contains lateral pressure increase values as a function of initial pressure for Tse4, Tse5ΔCT-Tse4, and Tse5ΔCT. Fig 2C includes representative current traces showing discrete current jumps recorded at a constant voltage of 100 mV in symmetrical 150 mM KCl. Fig 2D presents a frequency distribution of current jumps in symmetrical KCl, fitted to a Gaussian function. Fig 3A–3F comprise electrophysiological data on Tse4-induced channels, including reversal potentials, conductance values, ion selectivity ratios (P⁺/P⁻), and current-voltage relationships across various salt conditions (KCl, NaCl, LiCl) and lipid compositions.
