This dataset is an art piece inspired by Marcel Duchamps concept of readymades, which involves taking an everyday object and recontextualizing it as art. By independently shuffling each column of the original Cornell Movie Review dataset, the row-wise relationships are destroyed, removing the semantic meaning of the data while preserving its structure, but stripping it of its original significance.
