WP1 _database_Database of Castilla y León

This database compiles a comprehensive 15-year multi-regional panel dataset (2009–2023) specifically structured to calibrate the Positive Mathematical Programming (PMP) model and Constant Elasticity of Substitution (CES) production functions. It integrates spatial agronomic indicators, resource allocations, and socio-economic variables across the agricultural provinces of Spain (Castilla y León). Combining historical crop-specific water requirements from SIAR, cost and revenue micro-data from ECREA, and regional agricultural statistics, the dataset maps trends across critical crops such as barley, wheat, garlic, and corn by organizing prices, costs, land allocation, and 15-year time series for yields, water, and labor.
