## **Abstract** \n\nThis dataset and its metadata statement were supplied to the Bioregional Assessment Programme by a third party and are presented here as originally supplied.\n\nRepresentation of a fully connected and directed stream network in raster format.\n\n## **Purpose** \n\nThe stream network and catchment boundaries contained within the database form foundation elements of the Bureau of Meteorology’s Australian Hydrological Geofabric, the spatial framework that underpins the Australian Water Resources Information System (AWRIS).\n\n## **Dataset History** \n\nIt is built upon the representation of surface drainage patterns provided by the GEODATA national 9 second Digital Elevation Model (DEM) Version 3 (ANU Fenner School of Environment and Society and Geoscience Australia, 2008).\n\n## **Dataset Citation** \n\nSA Department of Environment, Water and Natural Resources (2015) Depth to Phreatic Groundwater - ARC.
