资源简介:
This dataset includes output files from WRF v4.2.2 configured in LES mode for Hurricane Sam (2021). We evaluate three subgrid-scale (SGS) configurations within the 3D TKE scheme: ck = 0.075, ck = 0.15 (default), and ck = 0.3. The directory structure is organized by SGS case (ck_0.075/, ck_def/, ck_0.3/), each containing hourly LES results wrfout_d03_* files, boundary condition wrfbdy_d01, initial condition wrfinput_d0* and the corresponding namelist.input file. We include Python scripts for post-processing 10-m wind intensity and minimum sea-level pressure time series. For scientific context and methods, see Kshetri & Momen (2025) The Impacts of Sub-grid Scale Parameterization of Large-eddy Simulations on Real Hurricane Dynamics and Forecasts.
