CSIR-Plant Genetic Resources Research Institute, Ghana Cereal datasets

This dataset was mobilized by the Plant Genetic Resources Research Institute, one of the institutes under the Centre for Scientific and Industrial Research. This dataset is the cereal dataset consisting of Zea mays L.,Panicum miliaceum subsp. miliaceum (a.k.a millet), Eleusine coracana (L.) Gaertn. Gaertn. (L.)(a.k.a finger millet), Oryza sativa Hochst. ex Steud (a.k.a rice),Hyparrhenia dichroa (Steud.) Stapf (a.k.a Sorghum/Guinea corn) and Vigna subterranea (L.) Verdc. Verdc. (L.) (a.k.a Bambara groundnuts). These collected from field expeditions across the country. The purpose of the expeditions was to collect germplasm that can be propagated for duplication
