A new validation of Burnout Assessment Tool: An IRT Analysis Among Teachers

Burnout is a critical occupational phenomenon with wide-ranging consequences for individuals and organizations. The Burnout Assessment Tool (BAT) was designed to overcome limitations of the Maslach Burnout Inventory by integrating four core dimensions (exhaustion, mental distance, emotional and cognitive impairment) and two secondary symptoms (psychological and psychosomatic complaints). These data is for the first validation of the complete BAT using Item Response Theory among 631 teachers.
