Water Depth in St. Louis River Estuary, Superior WI, Manoomin Beds, 2020

This dataset contains summer water depth data from 2020, at four locations in the St. Louis River Estuary. Water depth was measured within manoomin/wild rice beds at each site using pressure loggers. This data supports ongoing work at Lake Superior National Estuarine Research Reserve to understand ecological impacts to wetland condition and supports partners conducting manoomin restoration in the estuary. Data could be used with other wild rice or wetland plant research projects, or generally to understand differences in water depth fluctuation in different areas of the estuary.
