This dataset was collected in a real-world indoor test environment consisting of two floors (Ground Floor and First Floor). It is designed for research on WiFi-based indoor localization (positioning) and machine learning/deep learning classification using RSSI (Received Signal Strength Indicator) data. The localization environment is divided into two levels with multiple Regions of Interest (ROIs): seven ROIs on the Ground Floor and two ROIs on the First Floor. In the building plan, the red points represent the Reference Points (RPs) and the green points indicate the WiFi Access Point (AP) locations. The AP location is considered as the origin (X = 0, Y = 0). The dataset contains 326 rows, where each row corresponds to one RP. The spacing between RPs is 0.5 meter, with additional points placed at 0.25 m in areas where the RSSI signal shows high fluctuation.
