The Safe Routes to School program provides resources, technical assistance and project funding to encourage and enable students in grades K-12 to walk or ride their bike to school. The data was collected in 2015 and 2016 by the Cleveland City Planning Commission (CPC) and CMSD by conducting a walking audit. Data Glossary Walk Time: These are calculated by dividing the length of the entire route by an average walking speed. They do not represent a walk from any particular domicile to the school. Bike Time: These are calculated by dividing the length of the entire route by an average biking speed. They do not represent a bike ride from any particular domicile to the school.
