These files provide code and processed model output from the Python Glacier Evolution Model (PyGEM) used to produce the figures in the manuscript titled "Evaluating the Role of Internal Climate Variability and Bias Adjustment Methods on Decadal Glacier Projections". Keep folders in the same structure after download to ensure scripts run properly. If folders are structured correctly and all necessary packages are downloaded, then the scripts will produce all figures from both the main and supplemental sections from the manuscript. There are three primary scripts necessary to produce the figures. FiguresAll/scripts/Figures_Main_EvaluatingGlaciers_EarthsFuture.py Creates Main Figures 01 through 04, 06 through 09 FiguresAll/scrcipts/Figures_SI_EvaluatingGlaciers_EarthsFuture.py Creates Supplemental Sigures S01 through S21 Figures05/scripts/Figures05_Main_EvaluatingGlaciers_EarthsFuture.py Creates Main Figure 05 Figures05.zip - contains 4 folders (data, figures_main, PyGEM, scripts) data - contains data necessary to produce figures figures_main - contains output figures produced from /scripts/Figures05_Main_EvaluatingGlaciers_EarthsFuture.py PyGEM - contains required additional scripts used in /scripts/Figures05_Main_EvaluatingGlaciers_EarthsFuture.py scripts - contains main figure script (Figures05_Main_EvaluatingGlaciers_EarthsFuture.py) as well as required additional scripts FiguresAll.zip - contains 4 folders (data, figures_main, figures_supplemental, scripts) data - contains data necessary to produce figures figures_main - contains output figures produced from /scripts/Figures_Main_EvaluatingGlaciers_EarthsFuture.py figures_supplemental - contains output figures produced from /scripts/Figures_SI_EvaluatingGlaciers_EarthsFuture.py scripts - contains main and supplemental figure scripts *Figure 05 data and scripts were placed in a separate folder due to its complexity and size. The script can take 30+ minutes to run due to the complexity.
