WorldPop - Population Counts

The WorldPop India 100m Population dataset provides high-resolution population estimates for 2010, 2015, and 2020, as people per pixel (ppp) and per hectare (pph). National totals are aligned with UN Population Division estimates, with additional unadjusted datasets and census-based inputs for modeling. Using a dasymetric modeling approach with Random Forest techniques, the dataset supports spatial analysis with a resolution of ~100m, formatted as GeoTIFFs in WGS84 projection. It is ideal for demographic, urban planning, and environmental studies.
