Followers of suicide-related and school shooting virtual communities: basic demographics and network data

This data were collected in the study on suicide-related and school shooting virtual communities based on social media monitoring system search. Only anonymized user data from the largest European social networking site (vk.com) were collected. The dataset includes demographic profiles of virtual communities’ followers (sex, age, and geographical location) and a type of a community their followed. In addition, data on network charachteristics are also provided
