资源简介:
Since 2012, the University of Melbourne has operated a seismic monitoring program with instrumentation and operations primarily funded by the University of Melbourne, AuScope, and ANLEC. Between 2012 and 2025, data were archived using an instance of SRC EQServer software that was not aligned with SEED standards; from 2025 onward, the network code VW has been registered with FDSN, and all long-duration UOMSN stations (>2 years) have been assigned to this code, while temporary deployments are designated under the VX network code. Since 2025, a SeisComP system has been in operation at the University of Melbourne, and as of Q2 2026 the migration of the historical data archive is ongoing. Financial support during 2016–2021 was provided through Australian National Low Emissions Coal Research and Development (ANLEC R&D), supported by Low Emission Technology Australia (LETA) and the Australian Government through the Department of Industry, Science, Energy and Resources; the project also utilised equipment acquired with support from CO2CRC’s industry members, research partners, and the Australian Government through the CCS Flagships Program and the Department of Education and Training Education Investment Fund (EIF). This work has been enabled by AuScope and the Australian Government via the National Collaborative Research Infrastructure Strategy (NCRIS; auscope.org.au). We gratefully acknowledge all landowners who have hosted instruments on their properties, and note that installations within Wilsons Promontory National Park and the Gippsland Lakes Coastal Park were conducted under research permit numbers 10008293, 10008777, 10009510, and access agreement AA-0000001 issued under the National Parks Act 1975.
