Dataset of European Pillar of Social Rights Indicators in Spanish Regions and Social Services Development (2023)

This dataset accompanies the article "Regional Disparities in Spanish Social Services: An Empirical Assessment Through the European Pillar of Social Rights". It includes regionalised indicators from the European Pillar of Social Rights Action Plan (2023), covering 17 Spanish Autonomous Communities.The matrix includes 17 main EPSR indicators across three dimensions (Equal Opportunities, Fair Working Conditions, and Social Protection and Inclusion), along with the Social Services Development Index (IDS-DEC). VariablesEach row represents one region. Columns correspond to the following variables: EO1 to EO6: Equal Opportunity indicators FWC1 to FWC4: Fair Working Conditions indicators SPI1 to SPI7: Social Protection and Inclusion indicators IDS_DEC: Composite index of Social Services development SourceData compiled from national statistics (INE, Eurostat, EAPN) and the Asociación Estatal de Directoras y Gerentes de Servicios Sociales (2024).
