Hikeshi is a novel nuclear import carrier that mediate thermal stress induced nuclear import of Hsp70. We now know depletion/mutation of Hikeshi affect variety of biological processes in higher eukaryote with yet unknown mechanisms. Our aim of this project is to help reveal mechanism of cellular function of Hikeshi by analyzing gene expression profiles of Hikeshi knockout cells.
