国际土壤水分网络(ISMN)是一个全球性的实地土壤水分数据库，旨在建立和维护全球土壤水分观测数据。该数据库是验证和增强全球卫星产品以及改进陆地表面、气候和水文模型的重要资源。土壤水分在数值天气预报、洪水预报、农业干旱评估、水资源管理等方面发挥关键作用。ISMN最初由维也纳工业大学大地测量与地理信息系开发，自2022年起由国际水资源与全球变化中心(BGR)和德国联邦水文研究所共同托管管理。The International Soil Moisture Network (ISMN) is a global in-situ soil moisture database dedicated to establishing and maintaining global soil moisture observation datasets. This database serves as a critical resource for validating and enhancing global satellite products, as well as improving land surface, climate and hydrological models. Soil moisture plays a pivotal role in numerical weather prediction, flood forecasting, agricultural drought assessment, water resources management and other relevant fields. Originally developed by the Department of Geodesy and Geoinformation of Vienna University of Technology, ISMN has been jointly hosted and managed by the International Centre for Water Resources and Global Change (BGR) and the Federal Institute of Hydrology of Germany since 2022.
