"Religious Christmas scene on downtown building -- One of the most unusual and impressive Christmas decorations in Los Angeles has been placed on The Superior Oil Company building at 6th and Flower Streets. -- The three-story-high scene depicts a huge stained glass window of the madonna and child, in brilliant color. Ten choir boys, eight-feet tall, surround the window.
