The purpose of this study was to investigate the attitudes of Thai EFL students toward Microsoft Reading Progress. A total of 12 EFL students who were studying at Thammasat University made up the study’s sample. The methodology employed a mixed method approach, utilizing a survey consisting of 15 statements designed to assess attitudes towards Microsoft Reading Progress. The survey utilized a 5-point Likert scale and included one open-ended question. To collect data, a web-based application was utilized to create and distribute the survey online. The results of the survey highlight the benefits of using software, such as Microsoft Reading Progress, tosupport learners in improving their pronunciation skills.However, several drawbacks were identified. These included challenges arising from a shaky internet connection, time constraints, the participants' limited experience with Microsoft Reading Progress, and distractions present in their immediate physical environment. Overall, the findings shed light on both the advantages and limitations of utilizing Microsoft Reading Progress for pronunciation practice.
