Replication Data for: National Family Policies and Mothers' Employment: How Earnings Inequality Shapes Policy Effects Across and Within Countries

Source data and syntax files for replication. Includes all source datafiles with the exception of the EU-LFS microdata, which must be obtained directly from Eurostat. (1) Folder \"Micro\": Cleans and merges the EU-Labour Force Survey and the Current Population Survey 1999–2016 (n = 23 countries, 299 country-years). (2) Folder \"Macro\": Creates an original collection of macro data (N = 299) on national-level family policy, earnings inequality, labor market conditions, and attitudes toward maternal employment in 23 countries, 1999-2016. The final macro dataset is \"Final_MacroDataset_Jan2020.\" (3) Folder \"Analyses\": Replicates all analyses in the manuscript including the online appendix.
