资源简介:
In this study, we used quantitative stable isotope probing (qSIP) to unravel the active microbial groups responsible for the turnover of the 13C-dissolved organic sulfur (DOS) substances (taurine, methionine and dimethyl sulfide) in the marine sediments collected from Puerto Rico slope at a depth of 493 meters. For these qSIP incubations, the first ten centimeter of the sediment section was incubated for one and ten days. Moreover, incubations amended with glucose were also carried out to compare microbial DOS utilizations rates to that of glucose. The uploaded sequences represent the 16S rRNA sequences from the qSIP fractions (taurine, methionine and glucose) and the metagenomes only from heavy fractions.
