Survey of herbaceous communities in St Martin de Londres basin

The repository documents the composition of mediterranean herbaceous communities obtained from a survey of 12 sites in St Martin de Londres basin, south of France. It also provides measures of sites environmental condition. Plant sampling took place in 2010 and is described in Ehlers et al. (10.1111/1365-2745.12171). The design involves quadrats with and without wild thyme in each site. The 12 csv files with four-letter names provides species-per-quadrat presence (1) -absence (0) data derived from this sampling. For some plant species, the percentage of cover in quadrats is available (numbers above 1). The envData.csv file contains environmental data independently obtained in a set of sites of St Martin de Londres basin in 2013, some of them matching the plant survey sites.
