Supplemental Materials for the Journal Article "Development and Validation of the Fertility Intention-Plan-Action Scale"

This dataset is a complete collection of supporting materials for the paper "Development and Reliability Validity Testing of the Fertility Intention Planning Action Scale" published in the Journal of Applied Psychology. The study strictly followed the standards of psychometrics and systematically reported the entire process of development, revision, and validation of the FDPAS scale. The dataset consists of seven attachment materials and one dataset, providing readers and subsequent researchers with a transparent and reproducible complete chain of evidence from qualitative exploration to quantitative testing. The specific content is as follows: Attachment 1 Interview Process and Qualitative Analysis Results The process of obtaining initial question items through in-depth interviews was elaborated in detail, including interview outline, sampling method, text analysis, and core topic extraction results. Attachment 2 Research Sample Demographic Information Table Detailed demographic feature distributions (such as age, gender, marital and reproductive status, etc.) were provided for all valid samples participating in the initial and formal measurements. Attachment 3: Descriptive Statistics and Exploratory Factor Analysis (EFA) Results of FDPAS Project Presented the descriptive statistics such as mean, standard deviation, kurtosis, skewness, etc. of all items in the initial testing stage, as well as the factor loading matrix after exploratory factor analysis. Attachment 4 FDPAS measurement equivalence test fitting index A detailed model fitting index was reported for conducting multiple confirmatory factor analysis (CFA) between different gender subgroups. Attachment 5: Heterogeneity Homogeneity Ratio Table of FDPAS Factors Reported the Heterogeneity Homogeneity Ratio (HTMT) values between factors calculated based on the total sample, which were used to systematically evaluate the discriminant validity of various dimensions of the FDPAS scale. Attachment 6: Descriptive Statistics and Correlation Analysis Table of FDPAS Component Scale and Efficiency Scale Summarized the descriptive statistical results of the FDPAS total scale, each stage subscale, and efficiency scale in the formal sample, and provided the Pearson correlation coefficient matrix between them. Attachment 7 FDPAS Formal Test Questionnaire The formal survey questionnaire (including demographic information, FDPAS, and efficacy scale) of the Fertility Intention Planning Action Scale developed by our research institute is provided, which provides a standardized measurement tool blueprint for other researchers to directly use or conduct cross-cultural and cross group comparisons.
