Building Energy Estimation using EPISCOPE heuristic: Barcelona use case

This GeoJson dataset contains building-level energy demand estimations for the city of Barcelona, computed using the EPISCOPE heuristic model. The method follows a rule-based approach developed in the IEE EPISCOPE and TABULA projects, which estimates energy performance based on key building parameters such as construction year, type, and geometry (height and footprint). This dataset is an output of FAIRiCUBE Use Case 4 (UC4): Spatial and temporal assessment of neighbourhood building stock, which aims to evaluate energy consumption and material stocks in urban environments using harmonized methods across European cities.
