资源简介:

These datasets were produced as part of a research study on the chemical composition and anatomical structure of leaf biomass from seven Asparagaceae species. The data include quantitative measurements of total extractives and lignocellulosic fractions (cellulose, hemicelluloses, and lignin), as well as Fourier-transform infrared (FTIR) spectra of purified lignin and cellulose. Leaves were collected from mature plants, air-dried, and milled prior to analysis. Total extractives were determined by sequential Soxhlet extraction with organic solvents. The extractive-free material was subsequently used for lignocellulosic fractionation following standard analytical protocols. Klason lignin and purified cellulose fractions were isolated for spectroscopic analysis. FTIR spectra were acquired using an Agilent Cary 630 FTIR spectrometer. Lignin spectra were recorded in the 800–1800 cm⁻¹ region, while cellulose spectra were obtained in the 4000–650 cm⁻¹ range, with 30 scans at 4 cm⁻¹ resolution. Spectra were baseline-corrected and averaged prior to analysis. Band intensity ratios were used to estimate the syringyl/guaiacyl (S/G) ratio of lignin and the total crystallinity index (TCI) of cellulose.
