Diversity of fungi in tobacco leaves

Mildew is a significant conservation issue for storage management, which can directly cause product quality depreciation and serious economic losses as well as negative social effects. However, the mold community structure of stored tobacco leaves and its influencing factors are not very clear. Here, next-generation sequencing technology were applied to characterize the diversity, composition, and network structure of mold communities in healthy and moldy tobacco leaves stored in three different climatic conditions.
