NSW Office of Water groundwater quality bores - Namoi

## **Abstract** \n\nThe dataset was derived by the Bioregional Assessment Programme from the Namoi water quality dataset. The source dataset is identified in the Lineage field in this metadata statement. The processes undertaken to produce this derived dataset are described in the History field in this metadata statement.\n\n\n\nThis is a subset of the Namoi water quality data provided by the NSW Office of Water, clipped to the Namoi subregion.\n\n\n\nThe NSW Office of Water (NoW) provided water quality data for the Namoi region. The data includes continuously monitored sites and discrete monitored sites. Sites with a GW prefix represent groundwater sites. Groundwater sites can be linked to their locational information through the NSW NGIS (provided by the Bureau of Meteorology).\n\n\n\nRefer to the source data for more information.\n\n## **Purpose** \n\nThis data was used to develop the NAM 1.5 product.\n\n## **Dataset History** \n\nThe source data was the groundwater quality information from the NSW Office of Water. Data outside of the Namoi subregion was deleted and the data then clipped to only show results post-1970 for data quality purposes. Only the most recent measurement from each bore was used. ## **数据集生成历史**

本数据集的源数据取自新南威尔士州水务局的地下水水质信息。为保障数据质量，已剔除纳米伊次区域以外的监测数据，并仅保留1970年之后的监测结果；同时仅选取每个监测井的最新一次测量数据。本数据集依据澳大利亚与新西兰环境与保育委员会（ANZECC）发布的水质指南，按照地下水盐度（电导率EC）进行了分类。
