DNA barcodes of the vascular flora of the Altai Mountain Country: type material of the Herbarium ALTB

This dataset contains DNA sequences of type specimens of ALTB Herbarium. All sequences have accession numbers in NCBI GenBank. The general fund of the ALTB Herbarium (South Siberian Botanical Garden, Barnaul, Russia) has more than 450,000 sheets. Of these, there are 334 items of typical material (01.11.2022). The publication of data on DNA sequences and distribution of the Altai Mountain Country plants in gene banks and GBIF is one of the indicators of active work in the field of genetics and biodiversity informatics at the level of modern standards. In 2022, within the framework of the RSF project “Study of Phytodiversity and Genetic Resources of the Altai Mountainous Country Based on Big Data”, the process of DNA barcoding of the type material of the ALTB Foundation was started and work was carried out to digitize the collection (altb.asu.ru).

本数据集收录了ALTB植物标本馆（俄罗斯南西伯利亚植物园，巴纳德，俄罗斯）的典型标本DNA序列。所有序列均拥有NCBI GenBank的存取号。ALTB植物标本馆的一般基金中包含超过45万张植物标本。其中，截至2022年11月1日，有334件典型材料。发布DNA序列以及阿尔泰地区植物在基因库和GBIF中的分布数据，是衡量现代遗传学和生物多样性信息学领域活跃工作的一个重要指标。在2022年，作为RSF项目“基于大数据研究阿尔泰地区植物多样性和遗传资源”的框架下，启动了对ALTB基金会典型标本的DNA条形码工作，并进行了标本数字化工作（altb.asu.ru）。
