This dataset contains a timeseries with the number of people who have signed petitions to UK parliament at many timepoints from July 2016 until November 2022. It is not comprehensive -- at each timepoint only recently popular petititions are captured, from https://petition.parliament.uk/petitions.json?state=open .
The original data source is https://petition.parliament.uk/, licensed under the Open Government Licence v3.0. Duplication of data here is to allow analysis of temporal trends which are not available from the original source.
