Manuscript adx9450 - Source data and codes for DeepLabCut and VAME analysis

This dataset includes DeepLabCut (DLC) and Variational Animal Motion Embedding (VAME) data derived from the recording of mice in the Open Field, Enriched environment, and Home cage exploration tests. These behavioral tests were performed in adult mice for 3 distinct groups : 

Control group consisting of sex- and age-matched mice was generated by injecting the same Cre- or Flp-dependent vectors and implanting optic fibers at the same sites as experimental groups in wild-type mice.

D1 group (ChR2 in D1+ ACB-LHA) to optogenetically activate the D1+ ACB-LHA pathway. This group is comprised of transgenic D1-cre mice injected with a cre-dependant channelrhodopsin in the nucleus accumbens (ACB) and implanted with optic fibers on top of the lateral hypothalamus (LHA).

NpHR group (NpHR in LHAACB-LHb) to optogenetically silence the ACB inputs-receiving LHA-LHb pathway. This group is comprised of wild-type mice injected with:  an anterograde transsynaptic flp in the ACB, a retrograde cre in LHb, a cre- and flp-dependant NpHR in the LHA; and implanted with optic fibers on top of the LHA.

This file possess 3 folders each containing: 

A folder containing the results of the mouse body parts tracking with DLC (excel sheets)

A folder containing the results of the VAME unsupervised analysis (NPY files)

A folder containing the videos used for the analysis (indexed with "Animal ID_Ear tag_Group_Sex" or with the date of recording; MP4 format)

An excel sheet containing informations related to the animals groups and potential additional observations for each video ("details" sheet)

An excel sheet containing informations related to the behavioral motifs annotations ("summary" sheet)
