<p>In this report the results of an excavation of a medieval cemetary ar presented. The period of use of this cemetary dates between ca. 1028 and 1421; when the village was destroyed by flooding (St. Elisabeth Flood).<br>Also some posts of the oldest wooden church (build in 1028, dendrochronology) were found. Various coffins were present among which are wooden plank-coffins with a slatted bottem, tree trunk coffins and deseased burried between planks or bark. Among the scarse finds is a silver "long cross"penny which can be dated between 1272 and 1307 (king Edward, London).</p>
