Single-cell RNA-sequencing on adipose progenitor populations from normal and obese visceral adipose tissue

Adipose progenitor cell population contains stem cell population and committed preadipocytes. Although these subpopulations have been identified in recent single-cell RNA-sequencing studies on adipose tissue, it is still not clear how these cells are distinct between normal and obese conditions. We performed 10X Genomics' single-cell RNA-sequencing (Chromium Single Cell 3’) on Sca1+/CD31-/CD45-/Ter119- adipose progenitor populations isolated from normal and obese epididymal fat pads.
