Pairwise distances for P. luteus and P. applanatus are also reported as two separate units. Ranges of minimum to maximum distances are indicated (as percentages) within and between each molecular clade. For example, within P. tigrinus (Stoliczka, 1869), individual sequences are between 0.0% and 2.7% divergent, and between P. tigrinus and P. luteus sequences are minimally 11.4% and maximally 15.6% divergent (the “barcode gap” between intraspecific and interspecific distances is illustrated in Fig. 9).
