Proteome database of Listeria innocua ATCC 33091

<i>Listeria innocua </i>is a Gram-positive, and facultative anaerobic bacterium. Common in soil and water, the bacterium could also cause opportunistic infections in humans. Ability to form biofilms marks it of special concern given that biofilm may result in chronic infections in the human body. This work presents the proteome database of <i>L. innocua</i> ATCC 33091 by parsing its annotated proteome downloaded from UniProt. Comprising protein name and amino acid sequence together with calculated variables such as number of residues, molecular weight, and nucleotide sequence of each protein in the proteome of the bacterium, the resource should find use in further delineating the molecular mechanisms in pathogenesis of this opportunistic pathogen.
