AFAD, whose full name is Asian Face Age Dataset, is a dataset developed for evaluating the performance of age estimation from facial images. It contains over 160,000 facial images paired with corresponding age and gender labels. This dataset is specifically targeted at age estimation for Asian faces, thus all included facial images are of Asian individuals. It is the largest age estimation dataset to date, and is highly suitable for assessing the application of deep learning methods in age estimation tasks.
