The Nobel Index Supplementary Data
收藏资源简介:
All original datasets used in this study are provided as supplementary files in machine-readable formats (CSV/XLSX). They are listed below with brief descriptions: a1. Nobel laureates publications (2024) This dataset contains the publication records of Nobel laureates in Physics, Chemistry, and Physiology or Medicine from 1980 to 2024. It includes detailed metadata for each article, which was used to calculate the Nobel Factor (NF). Raw publication data and step-by-step process for NF calculation. a2. N-factor 2024 This file presents the results of the Nobel Factor (NF) calculations for selected journals between 1980 and 2024. Journal-level NF scores, showing the relative prestige of journals based on Nobel laureate publications. a3. Data for scoring This dataset outlines the procedure for calculating the Nobel Factor Summation (NFS). Intermediate steps and parameters required for deriving NFS from NF and author contribution weights. a4. Laureates NFS This file provides cumulative Nobel Factor Summation (NFS) scores for individual Nobel laureates, up to the year of their prize. NFS values for each laureate, grouped by field and publication record. a5. Author position distribution (2024) This dataset contains statistics on the distribution of Nobel laureates’ author positions (first, middle, last) across their publications. Frequency tables used to compare with the proposed N-contribution model. a6. Difference This file compares the actual author position distributions of Nobel laureates with the theoretical contributions derived from the N-contribution model. Error values and differences by author count, used to validate the robustness of the model. All supplementary files are provided to ensure transparency and reproducibility of results. They allow other researchers to replicate the analyses and explore extensions such as recalculating NF/NFS under different time windows or weighting schemes.
