Dataset for "Review labels in the health sciences: diversity, conceptual dimensions, and variation across specialties. A cross-sectional methodological study

This dataset contains the data underlying the manuscript “Review labels in the health sciences: diversity, conceptual dimensions, and variation across specialties. A cross-sectional methodological study”, submitted to the Journal of Clinical Epidemiology. The study examined review articles published in 2025 in first-quartile health sciences journals to describe the terminology used to label evidence syntheses, identify the conceptual dimensions conveyed by these labels, and examine variation across scientific specialties. The deposit includes the article-level dataset and associated documentation, including a data dictionary and documentation of the label classification rules. The data are provided to support transparency, reproducibility, and reuse of the study findings.
