Extensively drug-resistant Mycobacterium tuberculosis (XDR-TB) has been described in 105 countries including Myanmar by 2015. Here, we present the genome sequence of two potential XDR-TB isolates from Yangon Region, Myanmar and describe a number of mutations that confer drug resistance.
