收藏资源简介:
Bacterialskinandsofttissueinfections(SSTIs)representamajorcauseofoutpatientvisitsandantibioticprescriptionsworldwide.Thegrowingprevalenceofantimicrobialresistancehascomplicatedempiricaltreatmentstrategies,particularlyinregionalclinicalsettingswithlimitedsurveillancedata.ThisstudyaimedtoanalyzebacterialetiologiesandantibioticresistancepatternsamongpatientspresentingwithSSTIsinlocalclinicalpractice.AretrospectiveobservationalstudywasconductedattheRadeskiSkin&AestheticClinicintheFerganaValley,Uzbekistan.Clinicalspecimensfrompatientswithpurulentandnon-purulentSSTIswerecultured,andantimicrobialsusceptibilitytestingwasperformedusingstandardlaboratoryprotocols.ThemostfrequentlyisolatedpathogensincludedStaphylococcusaureus,Streptococcuspyogenes,andGram-negativeorganismssuchasEscherichiacoliandPseudomonasaeruginosa.Highresistancerateswereobservedforcommonlyprescribedantibiotics,includingpenicillinsandmacrolides,whilerelativelypreservedsusceptibilitywasnotedforglycopeptidesandselectfluoroquinolones.
