Chromosome-long haplotyping of a family trio using Strand-Seq. Samples NA12878, NA12891 and NA12892

To evaluate haplotype phasing using Strand-seq, we generated sequencing libraries from an extensively studied HapMap family trio. We selected the child (NA12878) and her parents (NA12891, NA12892) for our analysis because this individual was previously phased using parental genotype information and can therefore serve as a reference to assess the validity and precision of our approach.
