Gender and legislative committees in Africa: a study of Rwanda and South Africa

The dataset analyzes gendered patterns of legislative committee assignments in Africa, focusing on Rwanda and South Africa. The dataset covers individual-level variables such as education, professional background and political experience over two consecutive legislative sessions in both countries between 2010 and 2023.
