河南省5km格网土壤碳分布数据（1980s-1990s）是关于中国土壤碳分布估算，栅格数据属性值是土壤有机碳贮量（SOCS,Ctha-1）。本数据集根据中国土种志(1-6册)，按省份、植被类型提取土壤层次、剖面数、厚度、碳氮含量。从134篇中文期刊文选中按地点、植被类型提取土层深度数据和土壤有机质或土壤养分数据，最后空间化形成土壤碳空间分布数据。

The 5 km Grid Soil Carbon Distribution Dataset of Henan Province (1980s–1990s) targets the estimation of soil carbon distribution in China. The attribute value of its raster data is soil organic carbon storage (SOCS, C t ha⁻¹). This dataset extracts soil horizons, number of profiles, thickness, and carbon and nitrogen contents grouped by province and vegetation type from *Soil Species of China* (Volumes 1–6). It further collects soil depth data, soil organic matter or soil nutrient data based on sampling location and vegetation type from 134 Chinese journal articles, and finally spatially generates the spatial distribution dataset of soil carbon.
