Conductivity Temperature and Depth (CTD) Data from the EL25-IGV02 Cruise with RV Electra in the Baltic Sea, 1st June 2025
收藏资源简介:
Two CTD profiles were collected for WP1 during the EL25-IGV02 cruise in the research project entitled "Submarine Landslides and Potential Tsunami Events in the Baltic Sea: Enhancing Geohazard Understanding for Submerged and Coastal Infrastructures." The CTD data were collected at two locations during one day of the cruise. Area: The Baltic Sea, around 55.75 degrees latitude, 15.6 degrees longitude. PI: Andrén, Elinor, School of Natural Sciences, Technology and Environmental Studies, Södertörn University The research project funded by the Foundation for Baltic and East European Studies (Östersjöstiftelsen). Data Description This package contains both the raw CTD sensor data (.hex files) and the pre-processed files (.cnv). Note that these data are not quality checked. The pre-processing involves conversion of the raw data into scientific units, filtering, averaging, binning, and calculating additional oceanographic parameters. All the pre-processing is performed by Seabird's Seasave software modules. Processing parameters are found in the .cnv file headers. The vertical resolution of the data is 0.25 meters.
