Total population of the Île-de-France region by area 2018

The evolution of the number of inhabitants in Île-de-France was not the same in all areas of the region according to a survey conducted by Île-de-France Mobilités and the Observatoire de la Mobilité en Île-de -France (OMNIL). If the areas of the inner suburbs and inner suburbs have observed an increase of more than 200,000 since 2008, the area of Paris has suffered a decrease of around 20,000 inhabitants. Paris had around 2.09 million inhabitants aged six years and over, from January 2018 to June 2019.
