Sections

This feature class was developed by connecting lines from and to public land survey monuments. All lines endpoint should be coincident with a public land survey monument in the monuments feature class in the geodetic dataset. In particular lines are connected from public land survey quarter corners to adjacent section corner monuments and to adjacent center section monuments. So most section lines are approximately one mile in length.
