Raw RNA sequence reads of rice variety Qingliu under uninfested control, leaffolder-infested (24 h) and brown planthopper-infested (24 h) conditions

Qingliu rice variety shows dual resistance to Cnaphalocrocis medinalis (rice leaffolders; chewing insect) and Nilaparvata lugens (brown planthoppers; phloem-feeding insect). To determine the key defense mechanisms underlying Qingliu resistance to each insect pest, we generated the transcriptomic profiles of leaves and sheaths under uninfested control, leaffolder-infested (24 h) and brown planthopper-infested (24 h) conditions.
