SUBJECT of the Invention Propose the manufacturing method of the furan polymer impregnation timber which polymerizes furfuryl alcohol in the inside of a timber， without inject|pouring a polymerization initiator into a timber from the exterior. PROBLEM to be solved The timber 1 is made to produce|generate acids， such as an acetic acid， inside a timber by pre-processing under predetermined|prescribed heat-processing conditions in the manufacturing method of a furan polymer impregnation timber prior to the process which makes the timber 1 impregnate furfuryl alcohol. The timber 1 is acidified (pretreatment process ST2). It is not necessary to impregnate or inject|pour the polymerization initiator (acidic catalyst) of furfuryl alcohol into its inside from the exterior of the timber 1 by utilizing the acid produced|generated inside the timber as a polymerization initiator of furfuryl alcohol.
