FORMATION OF STUDENTS' ANALYTICAL AND FIGURATIVE THINKING THROUGH LITERARY WORKS

This paper explores in detail the development of students’ analytical and imaginative thinking through literary works. In the context of modern education, fostering students’ ability to think independently and to deeply analyze events and phenomena is of great importance. From this perspective, literature is considered an essential tool that contributes not only to the development of aesthetic taste but also to the enhancement of cognitive processes. The study demonstrates that through reading, analyzing, and discussing literary texts, students develop skills such as imaginative perception, logical thinking, comparison, generalization, and the ability to draw conclusions. It also highlights that literary works expand students’ life experience, strengthen their creative approach, and improve their ability to express personal opinions freely. The paper examines various pedagogical methods, interactive techniques, and innovative approaches aimed at deepening analytical thinking and enriching imaginative perception. Additionally, it addresses the development of critical thinking and problem-solving skills by connecting literary content with real-life situations. In conclusion, the study finds that engaging with literary works plays a significant role in enhancing students’ intellectual potential and shaping well-rounded, independently thinking individuals.
