Plankton surveys in the North Sea (1962-)

Surveys are carried out each year as background to fish stock monitoring programmes. Fish eggs and larvae are sorted to species where possible and numbers associated with temperature and salinity data on station sheets. Contoured distributions are becoming available in UK Digital Marine Atlas (UKDMAP) format.
